672 Residents Of Cirebon Narcotics Prison Underwent Swab Test Of 3 Positive Covid-19 Employees

JAKARTA - The Cirebon District Health Office (Dinkes), West Java (Jabar) conducted a mass swab test on 672 assisted residents at the Cirebon Narcotics Prison following 3 officers confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"This time, 672 assisted residents have taken the swab test," said Head of Cirebon Regency Health Office Enny Suhaeni, as reported by Antara, Thursday, January 21.

Enny said the mass swab test was carried out after his party received a request from the Cirebon Narcotics Prison, to facilitate the COVID-19 test.

According to him, the test came after 3 officers from the Cirebon Narcotics Prison tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently undergoing independent isolation.

"This swab test is due to the presence of three officers who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, even though one has been declared cured," he said.

Head of Cirebon Narcotics Prison, Nur Bambang Supri Handono added, after his party knew that an officer was confirmed positive, he immediately contacted the Health Office.

The swab test is an attempt by the Cirebon Narcotics Prison to break the chain of spreading the corona virus. "This is our effort so that the inmates who are in Narcotics Prison remain sterile from COVID-19," he said.
