JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government held a Monas Week and Monas Arts Performance at the National Monument, Central Jakarta, on April 23 to 30, 2023, in order to promote tourism and the creative economy.

I greeted some from Palembang, Aceh, and from other areas. Tonight we gather at Monas because the DKI Jakarta Tourism Office provides services for public entertainment in the context of the Eid holiday. God willing, next year there will be more, later add one or two more points," Heru said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 24.

Acting Governor Heru appealed to people who visited Monas to participate in guarding tourist attractions, starting from cleanliness and order for mutual comfort.

Enjoy the Monas and leave it clean. For residents who bring children to be considered and guarded. Enjoy tonight at Monas," continued Heru.

Meanwhile, the Monas Art Performance will be held on the pedestrian route on the west side starting at 08.00-09.00 WIB. The event titled Sendung Taman Monas can also be enjoyed at the north side counter at 08.00-17.00 WIB. The next location is at the tourist train queue which is on the south side at 08.00-17.00 WIB.

Head of the Jakarta Province Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Andhika Permata, said that the community can also visit the Old Town Area in northern Jakarta which has been beautified with a typical Idul fitri ornament with the theme Enlightening Kota Tua. There are several points that can be enjoyed which are centered on Jalan Kali Besar Barat, Kota Tua.

Andhika said, "Enlightening Kota Tua" is a tourist attraction that presents Islamic ornaments in the Kota Tua area. The installation of ornamental lights (spotlight) is also carried out to provide an aesthetic light effect.

Andhika continued, the spotlight is arranged in such a good way as the strong intensity of light, color, and direction of light so as to add to the beauty of the face of Kota Tua.

"Don't miss it, because the sensation of taking pictures in "Enlightening Kota Tua" is very suitable for feeds or stories on residents' social media. Of course it will add to the vibrant Lebaran holiday this year. This activity is an offering for people who are Eid in Jakarta," concluded Andhika.
