SOLO - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) distributed basic necessities and envelopes to hundreds of transport workers in Legi Solo Market ahead of Lebaran 2023. Quoted by ANTARA in Solo, Thursday 20 April, President Jokowi arrived at Legi Market at around 12.30 WIB. On that occasion the President wore a casual shirt in the form of orange long-sleeved shirt and black trousers. The president was also seen accompanied by his first grandson Jan Ethes Srinarendra who also wore an orange t-shirt. "Don't push," said the President while distributing envelopes containing money to traders and buyers who happened to come to Legi Market. One of the recipients of Girti's envelope admitted that he was happy to get a gift from the president. "Yes, I'm happy, moreover, I didn't mean to come here. I wanted to buy side dishes instead, so all of them come in line," he said. He said that Rp. 250,000 would be used to buy side dishes as Lebaran food later. "Yes, for additionally buying side dishes," he said.

Regarding this, the Head of the Surakarta City Trade Office, Heru Sunardi, said that today President Jokowi greeted the porters and workers carrying them at Legi Market and it was also scheduled at Pasar Gede. "He also gave gifts, there are 170 recipients at Pasar Gede and 730 recipients at Pasar Legi," he said.
