TANGERANG - The case of a fatal accident involving a Mitsubishi Pajero car, with a motorcyclist with the initials YS and MG on Jalan Gading Serpong Boulevard at the JHL traffic light, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Friday, April 6, entered a new chapter.

Recently, the victim's attorney, Satrio Nugroho, gave a statement saying that the accident was not a collision, but was hit by a Pajero driver, AT (20). The new fact was discovered after seeing the front of Pajero's car was badly damaged.

It is known, the motorcyclist who is a woman, YS died, after his head got into the wheel of a Carry tub that passed at the scene.

Meanwhile, MG (YS's colleague), who had been undergoing treatment for 9 days at the Tangerang District Hospital, was finally declared dead.

"What is clear is that a motorcycle was hit hard by Mitsubishi Pajero. 1 died at the TKP, 1 died after being treated for 9 days at the Tangerang District Hospital," Satrio said via text message to VOI, Monday, April 17.

"So with the condition of the front of the car badly damaged and the side without damage, it makes no sense to say that the motorbike only hit, the truth is that it was hit hard because the Pajero car was running fast," he continued.

Despite the chronological differences, Satrio admitted that he would fully trust the police.

"We fully entrust the handling of the case to the South Tangerang Police Traffic investigators so that it is processed by law and whoever does it is subject to appropriate punishment in accordance with applicable legal provisions," he concluded.

Police Version Chronology

Head of Traffic Unit of South Tangerang Police, Ipda Justinus Yunus, explained that the incident began when YS rode with his colleague, MG (19) passing from Sumarecon Mal Serpong towards Pagedangan, Tangerang, across Jalan Gading Serpong Boulevard.

At the same time, there was a Mitsubishi Pajero car and a black Carry vehicle passing at the same location. The two vehicles are in front of the motorcyclist.

"The Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle is in the right lane while the Suzuki Carry Pick Up vehicle is on the left lane," said Justinus.

The female motorcyclist allegedly collided with Mitsubishi Pajero from the left side of the road and was hit and his head fell into the wheel of the front tire of Carry's car which was passing at the same time. The head of the motorcycle rider (run over). As a result of the traffic accident, the Honda Beat YS motorcycle rider suffered bleeding wounds to his head and died at the crime scene," said Justinus.

Meanwhile, a female motorcycle passenger, MG survived (at that time). The victim suffered head injuries and bruises on both legs.

"The right and left legs suffered bruises. The victim was taken to the Tangerang Regency General Hospital (RSU) for medical purposes," he concluded.
