Firli Bahuri: All KPK Employees Receive COVID-19 Vaccine Next Week

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri said that all employees will receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This socialization and vaccination, he said, will be carried out next week.

"We also convey that all KPK employees will receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Next week, the KPK will disseminate vaccines and vaccinations to all employees," Firli told reporters, Friday, January 15.

Certainty about the provision of this vaccine has been communicated and coordinated with the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin and Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir.

The vaccination will be carried out in stages starting from the leadership, supervisory board, to KPK employees.

"The schedule and location still need to be coordinated with the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the Chairperson of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force. In time we will inform the progress of the implementation," he concluded.

Previously reported, currently the government has started COVID-19 vaccination. This program was initiated after President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) became the first person to be injected with the Sinovac vaccine along with a number of other parties.

Furthermore, this week, vaccinations will begin to be given to health workers and will then be given to public service workers.
