Defendant AG, Mario Dandy's Girlfriend Imprisoned By LPKA For 3 Years And 6 Months

JAKARTA - Judge Sri Wahyuni Batubara sentenced the defendant AG, or Mario Dandy's girlfriend with 3 years and 6 months in prison at the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA).

"Sentenced children to imprisonment for 3 years and 6 months at LPKA," said Judge Sri Wahyuni Batubara in the South Jakarta District Court courtroom, Monday, April 10.

Sri assessed that AG was applied to Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code because Mario Dandy's girlfriend was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of participating in serious persecution with a plan as in the primary indictment.

"Determining a period of detention that has been served by a child is reduced entirely from the sentence imposed." he continued.

Previously, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) demanded that Mario Dandy's girlfriend, AG be charged with Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code. with a threat of 4 years. This was directly said by the Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office (Kajari) Syarief Sulaeman.

"So the prosecutor's claim is to declare the child in conflict with the law guilty of committing a criminal act of Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in other words a criminal act of severe persecution with a plan," Syarief told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Wednesday, April 5.
