The Regent Of Jember Faida Has Not Made A Perbup, As A Result, Tens Of Thousands Of ASN And Honorary Have Not Received A Salary

JEMBER - Tens of thousands of state civil servants (ASN) and honorariums in Jember Regency, East Java have not received their salaries in January 2021 until the middle of the month. This condition is due to the absence of a district head regulation (Perbup) or regional regulation (Perda) APBD 2021 in the local district.

"Until today, ASN's salary has not been disbursed, even though it has entered the middle of the month and many needs to be purchased," said Agus, one of the ASNs in the Jember Regency Government as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 15.

Many civil servants and honorariums complain that the salaries they usually receive at the beginning of the month have not been disbursed, even though the salaries are their rights as civil servants and honorary workers who have worked.

"We do not know when ASN salaries can be disbursed due to conditions in Jember like this, but ASNs really hope to receive their salaries in January 2021 as soon as possible," he said.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Jember Regency who was dismissed by the Regent of Faida Jember unilaterally, Mirfano said that the number of ASNs in the Jember Regency Government reached 13 thousand people and the number of honorary staff was 6 thousand people.

"As of this Friday, no ASN has received a salary because Jember Regency does not yet have a regional regulation on the 2021 APBD," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Jember Faida has submitted a regional budget for 2021 to the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawans. However, it was rejected because the budget was almost the same as the perda, so the Jember Regency Government was asked to make a revision with a mandatory, routine and binding budget.

The absence of a Perbup or Perda APBD Jember for the 2021 fiscal year also has an impact on the operational budget in the Jember Regency Government, including the costs of water bills, telephone bills, electricity, and fuel oil (BBM) for official operational vehicles.

Previously, Deputy Regent of Jember A. Muqit Arief said that his party had communicated with the Governor of East Java and the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the condition of Jember.

"Hopefully there is a solution from the East Java Provincial Government and the central government for the conditions that occurred in Jember," he said.
