JAKARTA - Plt. KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said the inactive Mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna, used bribes to buy a plot of land in Dago Pakar, Bandung, West Java. The land is in the name of his son.
Ajay is a suspect in a bribery case related to the construction permit for the Kasih Bunda General Hospital. He became a suspect after being arrested by the KPK.
"The money allegedly received by the suspect was allegedly used to buy assets in the form of land in Dago Pakar in the name of the son of suspect AJM (Ajay Muhammad Priatna)," Ali told reporters, Jakarta, Thursday, January 14.
Ali said that the money used by Ajay to buy land in Dago Pakar had been confiscated by the investigating team from the developer Dago Pakar, PT Bandung Pakar. The confiscation was carried out when a developer, Dago Pakar, PT Bandung Pakar, underwent an examination as a witness and returned the money originating from Ajay.
"The developer returned the funds that had been deposited to the developer and then it was confiscated," said Ali.
