Even Though The Child Perpetrator Is A Police Officer, The Family Of The Victim Of A Mercedes Benz Collision At The Sunday Market Asks For Professional Police

JAKARTA The police were asked to be transparent in revealing the accident that killed a teenage boy named Syamil (18) at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. This is because the case involved the son of a high-ranking police officer as the driver of a Mercedes Benz car.

"Please law enforcement can convey this more transparently. If it is true, tell me right, if it is wrong, then say it wrong," said Nurhayati to reporters, Monday, April 3.

Nurhayati also asked law enforcement to investigate this case thoroughly, even though the alleged perpetrator was the son of a high-ranking police officer. He hopes that the police can handle the case fairly.

"I want all of this to run according to the right procedure, I want this one truth to be revealed, I want it to be resolved completely. Not because we are small people. We want it to be treated fairly. Whoever it is, whoever is, whoever is a high-ranking child," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that the Head of Traffic for the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Bayu Marfiando, emphasized that his party in handling an accident case suspected of being hit by a Mercedes Benz (Mercy) driver was in accordance with procedures.

"According to the procedure," said Bayu when confirmed, Sunday, April 2.

Bayu also admitted that the perpetrator who hit it was indeed the son of a police officer. However, he did not want to speculate whether his father was a police official.

He only confirmed that based on the results of the preliminary examination, the accident was caused by a motorcycle rider allegedly running a red light.

"I don't know the limits of the son of a high-ranking police officer. What is clear is that the police child is right. The case is sexy because it is actually the son of the police. But like this, I'm not talking about the son of the police or anyone. We're talking about the facts on the ground. If you want to talk about who caused the accident, the one who broke through the red light," he said.
