JAKARTA - The inaugural trial of the case of mistreatment of David Ozora with the defendant AG at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) with the agenda of reading the indictment. Attorney David Ozora, Mellisa Anggraeni said the defendant AG was charged with Article 355 Jo 56 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to the law on child protection or alternative charges.

"In reading the indictment, the article submitted is still the same as the article that during the investigation process, severe persecution plans with the demands of alternative charges, the Child Protection Law with a threat of 5 years," Mellisa told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, March 29.

"And Article 355 of the juNTO 56 of the Criminal Code concerning criminal assistance, which carries a penalty of 12 years," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, revealed that the defendant AG was charged with Article 353 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.

The second primer is Article 355 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code. Subsidiary to Article 353 paragraph (2) Kuhp in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Uu No. 23 of 2022 concerning child protection," he concluded.
