CILACAP - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilacap City Police is still investigating the statements of a number of witnesses in the robbery case that occurred in Kaliwungu Village, Cilacap Regency, Central Java, Monday, March 27 afternoon. "We are still investigating witnesses. The weapons similar to the gun used by the robbers are confirmed to be firearms," said Head of the Cilacap Police, Police Commissioner Guntar Arif Setiyoko in Cilacap, Antara, Tuesday, March 28. He said based on the testimony of witnesses, the victim on behalf of Nasirun (45) suffered quite a lot of bleeding on the legs because he had fought the robbers who continued with a struggle in front of the victim's shop, until finally his left leg was shot by one of the robbers. Meanwhile, the victim's neighbor, Gunawan (41), was also shot in the thigh while trying to help Nasirun. According to Guntar, the bullet projectiles lodged in the bodies of the victims had been lifted by medical personnel at the hospital. "Regarding the perpetrators, we are still being chased. We are assisted by the Central Java Police Resmob Team," said Guntar. The robbery took place at a shop owned by Nasirun, a resident of Kaliwungu Village, Kedungreja District, Cilacap Regency at around 15.00 WIB. The group of robbers, totaling three people, was found to have entered a shop owned by Nasirun, who is also an agent of a state-owned bank and was suspected of having fought back until the perpetrators finally assaulted the victim. In fact, the victim, Nasirun, was shot in the left leg, while Gunawan (the victim's neighbor) was shot in the thigh. Currently, the two victims are still undergoing treatment at the Aghisna Sidareja Hospital. The robbers took away around Rp. 100 million in cash, cell phones, and surveillance cameras (CCTV). Meanwhile, in the 2 minutes 50 second video footage circulating on social media, it can be seen that the robbers who took action at Nasirun's shop were riding two motorbikes. In the video, it can also be seen that the robbers abused the victim. In fact, one of the perpetrators shot the victim in the leg with the firearm he was carrying.
