JAKARTA - The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) plans to report Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana, and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani to Bareskrim today.

The report is related to the secret 'bocor' regarding odd transactions of IDR 349 trillion within the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

"It's true, today we will report the three names to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police," said MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman to VOI, Tuesday, March 28.

If the report is received later, there are three names of witnesses and experts who will be submitted. They are all members of Commission III of the DPR, namely Arteria Dahlan, Benny K Harman and Arsul Sani.

The three were submitted as witnesses and experts because they were parties who were of the view that there was a criminal element behind the delivery of information on odd transactions at the Ministry of Finance.

"Because (Arteria Dahlan, Benny K Harman, and Arsul Sani) were talking about the article on data leakage at the DPR Commission III meeting," said Boyamin.

Boyamin said the reporting plan was actually to defend PPATK. This is because Commission III of the DPR said there was a crime from the process submitted by PPATK at the Commission III Meeting of the DPR RI last Tuesday, March 21.

"This is a form of MAKI's endeavor in defending PPATK that what has been done is true and if this is said to be untrue by the DPR, I try with reverse logic following the flow of the DPR by reporting PPATK to the police," he said.

Boyamin assessed that the DPR's statement seemed to blame PPATK for following the flow in the community from the process that had occurred related to Rafael Alun, who has excess wealth from officials in this country.

Boyamin believes that what PPATK does does does not include a criminal law violation because what is conveyed is globally, not individuals who have an impact on harming one person because the secret is revealed.

"This is a form of my reverse logic. If later in the police there is no crime what PPATK conveys, it means that what PPATK is doing is true," said Boyamin.
