JAKARTA - The leadership of the DPR RI ensured that the working meeting (Raker) of Commission III of the DPR RI with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md regarding suspicious transactions of Rp. 300 trillion within the Ministry of Finance was not canceled. However, the implementation time was postponed because it had to match the time. This was said by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, in response to Mahfud's rescheduled summons to the DPR which is scheduled for tomorrow. However, Dasco said, the possibility of a meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs will be held on Friday, March 24, this week. Meanwhile, the Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) will continue tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21. "So, for the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, apart from today, he can do it tomorrow. Friends are deciding whether tomorrow or Friday, that's all, it will be," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, March 20. "(If, red) tomorrow with PPATK," he added. Dasco dismissed certain reasons behind the cancellation of the meeting with Mahfud today. According to him, the delay is only related to the time when the day after tomorrow is a national holiday. "So there really is no issue, this is just a match of time. But the meeting with PPATK tomorrow, the meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs is planned for Friday, because it collided with Wednesday, Thursday, we took a collective leave," he explained. The Gerindra politician said that Commission III of the DPR would ask for an explanation from Mahfud Md's statement regarding irregularities in transactions of Rp. 300 trillion at the Ministry of Finance. However, Dasco admitted that he did not know anything. "I don't know the substance that will be explored yet, so that the technical commission will explore the issue. I think, as leaders, we are not included in that realm," said Dasco. Previously, member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Gerindra faction, Habiburokhman, regretted that the working meeting (Raker) with Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md was canceled today. Moreover, the reason for the cancellation of the agenda to discuss the issue of illegal transactions of Rp. 300 trillion at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) was only because the invitation letter to Mahfud had not yet been signed by the leadership. "It is very unfortunate that the meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs did not happen today, because a letter from the leadership of the DPR to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs has not been signed yet," said Habiburokhman. In fact, continued Habiburokhman, members of Commission III of the DPR are very ready to accept the presence of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs today, as well as Mahfud Md. The Gerindra legislator for the DKI Jakarta electoral district was worried that the postponement of the meeting with Mahfud today made the public think that the DPR was not serious about responding to suspicious transactions at the Ministry of Finance. Even Habiburokhman admitted that he did not know about the change in the agenda for the meeting with Mahfud, which was postponed tomorrow afternoon.
