There is a Demonstration Rejecting Israel at the Horse Statue, This Transjakarta Route is Diverted

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has diverted a number of its bus routes as a result of the demonstration activities which were centered in the Horse Statue area today.

Today, a number of Islamic organizations are planning to hold a demonstration against the arrival of the national football team (timnas) from Israel to Indonesia in the U20 event.

These organizations include the Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212, the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI), and the National Movement to Guard Fatwa (GNPF) Ulama. It was claimed that the action entitled 203 Reject the Israeli National Team was attended by hundreds of participants.

"The mass action activities around the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta, and its surroundings, have had an impact on several Transjakarta services which have undergone adjustments in the form of diverting or shortening routes," said Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri in a statement, Monday, March 20.

Apri said, this policy was taken in order to continue to be able to mobilize people who carry out activities using the affected routes.

The road will return to normal if the lane can be crossed by buses again," he said.

The following are a number of Transjakarta services that have undergone adjustments:

1. Blok M – City (Corridor 1)

Temporarily experiencing route diversion for both directions. The bus stops that do not serve the City route are the Bank Indonesia bus stop and the Monas bus stop, while the Blok M bus stop is the Monas bus stop.

2. Blok M – Senen (1P)

Temporarily experiencing route diversion for the direction of Senen while the reverse direction is operating normally. Bus stops that do not serve customers are the Ministry of Tourism, Monas 1, Monas 2, Monas 3.

3. Maju Beach – City Hall (1A)

For a while, the route was shortened to Maju Beach - Juanda. Blus stops that don't serve are Monas stops and Balikota bus stops.

4. Pulogadung – Harmony (Corridor 2)

Experiencing route diversion for the direction of Pulogadung, while the reverse direction is normal. The bus stops that do not serve customers heading to Pulogadung are the Monas bus stop, Gambir 2 bus stop, and the City Hall bus stop.

5. Pulo Gadung - Crocodile Swamp (2A)

Temporarily experiencing route diversion in both directions. While the Rawa Buaya route does not serve the Kwitang - Monas bus stop and the Pulogadung direction does not serve the Monas - Gambir 2 bus stop.

6. Juanda - HI Roundabout (2ST)

Experiencing rerouting for the direction Juanda and the normal reverse direction. The stops that do not serve are the northbound Bank Indonesia bus stop and the Monas bus stop.

7. Kalideres - HI Roundabout (Corridor 3)

Temporarily experiencing route diversion in both directions. The bus stop that does not serve is the Petojo bus stop.
