JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ida Maheasy, considers the budget allocation of Rp. 2.9 billion from the 2023 APBD for the rehabilitation of the official residence of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to be a natural thing.

According to Ida, every year the DKI Provincial Government routinely allocates a budget for the restoration of the official residence of the Governor of DKI. Usually, the improvements made are minor.

"Rehabilitation of official residences is indeed a routine activity because if it is not budgeted for treatment, for example there is an earthquake, yes we cannot fix it. This is to ensure that unwanted things happen," said Ida when contacted by VOI, Sunday, March 19.

Ida also understands that there is a budget for repairing the official residence of the Governor of DKI in Menteng, Central Jakarta, which is included in the cultural heritage. Although, during his tenure the Acting Governor of DKI Heru did not occupy the official residence.

"The house is a pity. If it is not used, it will be easily damaged. For example, there are leaks and so on. We never know, for example, the house suddenly has a leaking roof. Usually, it's like that," said Ida.

Moreover, continued Ida, the allocation of funds for the rehabilitation of the official residence of the Governor of DKI for the past few years has been diverted by the DKI Provincial Government for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with other development activities that had been delayed.

"Indeed, in 2020 there will be COVID-19, there will be a massive refocusing," he said.

As is known, the rehabilitation work for the official residence of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru is contained in the Information System website of the General Plan for the Procurement of Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institutions (LKPP Sirup).

The procurement of official houses in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta is included in the budget allocation of the Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Service.

In information on procurement on the LKPP website, it is stated that the architectural rehabilitation of Heru Budi's official residence includes repairing roofs, walls, ceilings, floors, and others.

The method of selecting the rehabilitation of official houses is in the form of tenders. The DKI Provincial Government invites domestic products from small businesses or MSMEs to participate in the construction tender process.

The DKI Provincial Government has scheduled the selection of construction providers for the rehabilitation of Heru's official residence to be carried out from July to August 2023 and continued in the contract implementation from September to December 2023. Meanwhile, the use of goods/services for procurement will be carried out in December 2023.
