Ramadan 1444 H Has Brought Blessings For Mobile Tailors In Lebak Banten

The month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri has brought blessings to tailors in Lebak Regency, Banten. Their income is now increasing.

This was conveyed by Sulaeman. He said his income ahead of Ramadan rose to Rp. 80,000 from the previous Rp. 50,000 per day. "This increase in income helps our family's economy," said the 40-year-old man. Most of the tailor services around Ramadan received sewing orders for prayer equipment, such as headscarves, koko shirts, robes, mukena, sarongs as well as some pants and clothes. The tailors received orders from the community with a salary of Rp. 5,000 to Rp. 10,000 per cut. Sulaiman is lucky because many customers in the Rangkasbitung area and the border of Serang Regency. "We have been tailors traveling to the village out of the village here for 20 years by riding bicycles and traveling about 5 kilometers," he said, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 18.

Another traveling tailer, Sukri admitted that he had been able to go home for the past week with Rp90 thousand. Even though usually this 55-year-old man only gets Rp55 thousand/day. The increase in turnover is because many housewives call tailor services to repair headscarves, mukena, perforated robe clothes. "We are overwhelmed by the number of orders and have to be done at home," said Sukri. "We are grateful that the two children have now worked in Jakarta," he said.
