Ganjar Pranowo Gets An Example From Sunan Gersik Regarding Ulama And Umara Relations

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo considers Sunan Gresik as the main role model in establishing a relationship between ulama and Umara. The harmony of the relationship between the two leaders for Ganjar is an absolute requirement to prosper the community.

Sunan Gresik's grave became the second location in a series of Ganjar and his wife after Sunan Ampel. Waliyullah, named Maulana Malik Ibrahim, was Walisongo's starting figure. Born in Samarkand, Malik Ibrahim was invited by his father to da'wah in Java and was finally well received by the leader of Majapahit, the ruler of Java at that time. The acceptance of Malik Ibrahim in the royal circle, cannot be separated from the hospitality of his da'wah and is loved by the people who have not generally embraced Islam.

As is said in many literature, Malik Ibrahim started da'wah by opening the widest possible association in the Gresik coastal area. Once he received a lot of trust from the local community, Malik Ibrahim did a lot of da'wah through trade routes. From there he was finally also accepted by the kingdom.

"The way his da'wah has always inspired him to this day how he preaching well, in a friendly manner and finally being able to establish good relations with the authorities at that time," said Ganjar Pranowo, Saturday, March 18.

What Maulana Malik Ibrahim did, continued Ganjar, was still felt through the current preaching of the Indonesian scholars. In fact, the relationship between scholars and umara, as exemplified by Malik Ibrahim in building the community is still being implemented today.

"We can see how Habib Lutfi bin Yahya is. Apart from dealing with Umara, he is also very concerned when the community wants him in every problem and not only a matter of religious worship," said Ganjar.

According to Ganjar, this is the way that makes Indonesia get better. Moreover, coupled with a hereditary transmission process.

"We can see, at least here, how the graves of the guardians are also filled with children. From there the children can learn the history of how this country was built and maintained. Hopefully they will imitate the good preaching methods that were carried out by the predecessors," said Ganjar.

After an hour of tahlil and praying at Sunan Gresik's grave, Ganjar immediately continued his journey to Sunan Giri's grave which is also in the Gresik area. Previously, Ganjar also made a pilgrimage to Sunan Ampel's Tomb in Surabaya.

The pilgrimage carried out by Ganjar Pranowo is a series of simultaneous visits to the tomb of Walisongo, which he played with his wife, Siti Atikoh. Closing the entire series of directors, Ganjar and his wife will make a pilgrimage at the graves of their parents.
