PALEMBANG - South Sumatra Regional Police (Sumsel) introduced the PA' KEPO digital application to high school (SMA) students in Palembang City, as an information system for the acceptance of Polri members.

A total of 150 students of SMA Negeri 1 Palembang who received the first introduction of the PA'KEPO digital application from the South Sumatra Police HR Bureau personnel, Thursday.

"The introduction of the application is one of the series of socialization stages for the acceptance of Integrated Police members this year," said Head of the South Sumatra Police HR Bureau Kombes Pol Sudrajad Hariwibowo to reporters after the socialization.

He explained that PA'KEPO is an acronym of Palembang, "Payo Becomes a Police Exit, or Let's Become a Police Family" which is then used as a name for the application.

The PA' KEPO application contains all information regarding the acceptance of integrated Polri members for the 2023 class year.

As for example, starting from the stages of announcement, registration, various requirements, series of receipt times to complaints related to Polri acceptance services.

"The application developed by the South Sumatra Police HR Bureau can be downloaded for free through the cellphones of each high school student or equivalent in the local area," he said accompanied by the Head of the South Sumatra Police ROSDM Diapers Subdivision, Kompol Candra Kirana.

According to him, through the use of the PA'KEPO application, students in the 12th grade of high school who wish to become members of the National Police will get clearer and faster information.

In addition, the application is also easier to use without having to open the website http://penerimaan.polri.go.id which is accessed by prospective members of the National Police from all over Indonesia so that they are vulnerable to disturbances.

"From this launch, it is also a form of transparency that is given to oversee the process of receiving the Police," he said.
