KPK Checks Members Of The West Java DPRD Regarding Bribery For Project Arrangements In Indramayu

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted examination of a number of witnesses related to the alleged bribery case for project arrangement in Indramayu Regency in 2019. One of the witnesses examined was a member of the West Java Provincial DPRD, Drajat Hidayat.

"Drajat Hidayat is being examined as a witness for the suspect ARM (Abdul Rozaq Muslim, member of the West Java DPRD 2014-2019)," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, January 12.

In this case, the KPK also investigated Drajat Hidayat, who is a staff of the Village Roads Division of the Public Works and Public Housing Agency in Indramayu Regency and a retired civil servant Dede Juhana.

"Apart from that, the KPK is also investigating Tedi Rahman who is a PKS faction staff member," said Ali.

It is not yet known what will be the substance of the examination today. However, whoever the party examined by the KPK is usually considered to have knowledge of the case in a case.

Previously reported, Abdul Rozaq Muslim was named by the KPK as a suspect since August 2020. He was named a suspect after the KPK carried out a case development involving the former Regent of Indramayu Supendi.

In this case, Rozaq allegedly received money worth a total of Rp. 8.5 billion from a private party called Carsa ES.
