PASER - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Paser, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), has 80 tons of rice reserves in Bulog warehouses prepared for residents if there are victims affected by the disaster. "This rice reserves are ready to be distributed if there are residents who are victims of disaster," said Head of the Paser District Food Security Service (DKP), Taharuddin, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 15. According to him, the preparation of rice reserves for disaster preparedness is an order from the Paser Regent to distribute to people who are victims of the disaster. "So far, Taharuddin has not received reports related to flood-affected residents who need to be distributed assistance. However, he has always coordinated with the social service regarding the distribution of aid to disaster victims. "We will also establish communication with the sub-district heads to find out which locations need to be distributed," he said.

Saharuddin said that if there was a flood and it resulted in victims of residents, his party immediately distributed aid. "As soon as information is received, residents affected by the flood immediately report to the Regent to get approval for the distribution of aid," he said.
