4 Transjakarta Bus Routes Diverted By Fires Near RSPAD And DPR Demo

PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) has diverted a number of bus routes due to a fire in a residential area near the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital and a demonstration in front of the DPR building.

"In connection with the fire incident around Jalan RSPAD, Central Jakarta and the closure of lanes around the DPR/MPR RI, South Jakarta today, it has had an impact on four Transjakarta services that experienced route diversion," said Head of Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri in his statement, Monday, March 13.

Apri said that this policy was taken so that people who usually use these four services can still be served by their mobility.

"The service will return to normal operations when the bus can be crossed again," he said.

Here are the four routes that have been diverted:

1. Senen Tanah Abang (1P) For the time being, the Tanah Abang direction does not serve Atrium bus stops to stop RSPAD 2, while the opposite direction operates normally.

2. Senen Gondangdia (2P) For the time being, the Tanah Abang direction does not serve Atrium bus stops to stop RSPAD 2, while the opposite direction operates normally.

3. Tosari Palmerah Station (1B) For the time being, the Palmerah Station does not serve the MPR/DPR RI bus stop while the opposite direction operates normally.

4. Senayan Roundabout - Palmerah Station (1F) For the time being, the Palmerah Station does not serve the MPR/DPR RI bus stop while the opposite direction operates normally.

For information, a fire hit a resident's house on Jalan Prapatan III, Senen Village, Central Jakarta District. This incident occurred today at 12.15 WIB.

A total of 75 personnel from the Fire and Rescue Service were deployed to extinguish the fire. Currently, residents have been localized and the blackout is still ongoing.

In addition, a number of workers held demonstrations in the DPR RI with the demand to reject the ratification of the Employment Creation Omnibus Law Perppu into law. Traffic on Jalan Gatot Subroto towards Slipi was also closed.

In detail, the traffic flow from Jalan Gatot Subroto towards the DPR/MPR Building is turned left onto Jalan Gerbang Pemuda. The traffic flow from Jalan Gerbang Pemuda towards the DPR/MPR Building is turned back in Kolong flyover pharmacy to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.

Then, the traffic flow from Jalan Palmerah Timur towards Jalan Gelora was straightened out by Jalan Army Students. The traffic flow from Jalan Asia Afrika was straightened to Jalan Gelora. Then, the traffic flow from Jalan Gerbang Pemuda towards Jalan Gelora was diverted to the left of Jalan Asia Afrika.
