SAR Team Releases 13 Victims Of Landslide In Sumedang, 27 Others Still Wanted

JAKARTA - The Bandung Search and Rescue Office (SAR) released the identities of 13 people who died from landslides in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, West Java.

Head of the Bandung SAR Office, Deden Ridwansyah, said his party was also conducting a massive search of 27 people who were reported missing after landslides.

"All the elements that are joined can work according to their capacity and capability," said Deden at the landslide site, reported by Antara, Monday, January 11.

The victims who died consisted of local residents, volunteers, as well as TNI officers and BPBD Sumedang officers who were buried by the ground when there was a subsequent landslide.

The following is the name of the victim who died in the incident

1. Suhanda (43), lk, MP Cimanggung

2. Cahyo Riyadi (unknown) Margajaya

3. Diding (unknown), Bojongkondang Village

4. Dudung (unknown), Bojongkondang Village

5. Yedi (unknown), BPBD Sumedang officer

6. Wildan (6), Cihanjuang

7. Yani (27), Cihanjuang

8. Nardiyanto (58), Perum SBG Cihanjuang

9. Engkus Kuswara (43), Sawah Dadap

10. Danramil Cimanggung Captain Setyo Pribadi (55), Cikole Hamlet

11. Beni Heriyanto (40), Perum SBG Cihanjuang

12. Asep Saripudin (unknown), Cihanjuang, found by MD on Sunday (10/1) at 09.30 WIB

13. Lili Ali Nurdin (unknown), Cihanjuang, was found by MD on Sunday (10/1) at 12.55 WIB.
