JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny G Plate will be questioned again by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) regarding the alleged corruption case of Bakti Kominfo next week. The examination will be the second time for the NasDem politician. "Wednesday (March 15) the examination schedule (Johnny G Plate, ed)," said Head of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumadena when contacted, Friday, March 10. The scheduled examination was carried out after the investigator of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes sent a summons. However, it was not detailed whether Johnny G Plate would fulfill the summons for the examination. "According to the investigative team, it has (send a summons, ed)," said Ketut. For information, Johnny G Plate was questioned on February 14. The NasDem politician was asked for information with his capacity as a witness. Johnny G Plate has been examined as a witness for nine hours since morning at around 09.00 WIB. Not only Johnny, but the AGO also examined five other witnesses. They are K as Director of PT Elabram System; DA as private party; Director of PT Menara Cahaya Telekomunikasi with the initials TBSK; Director of PT Telnusa Intracom, DB; and WL as Director of Sales of PT ZTE Indonesia. To investigate cases of alleged corruption in the BTS 4G infrastructure provider and supporters of packages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 BAKTI Kominfo, about 50 witnesses were examined and 23 witnesses were prevented from leaving the country. This case is suspected of causing more than Rp1 trillion in state finances. As for the suspects, there are five that have been determined by the AGO. They are Anang Achmad Latif (AAL) as President Director of BAKTI Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Gahole Menak (GMS) as President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Yohan Suryanto (YS) as an expert on Human Development (HUDEEV) University of Indonesia in 2020, Mukti Ali is a suspect from PT Huwaei Technology Investment and Irwan Hermawan as Commissioner of PT Solitchmedia Synergy.
