"The money given was Rp. 350 million to Rp. 750 million," said Iqbal in Semarang, quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 9. According to him, the money has been returned to those who are entitled. Of the dozens of people who were examined, only a dozen people were the givers. The money was given before the graduation announcement was made. "So actually they have been accepted for the ability of their respective candidates," he said. According to him, the five police officers and two National Police civil servants involved in the case have been sanctioned. The five police officers who have become ethics and disciplinary hearings are Commissioner AR, Kompol KN, AKP CS, Bripka Z, and Brigadier EW, respectively. He said the five police officers were proven to have committed a disgraceful act and had apologized to the National Police institution. "Three policemen, respectively Kompol AR, Kompol KN and AKP CS were sentenced to two years of demotion, while the other two perpetrators Bripka Z and Brigadier EW were sentenced to be placed in special places for 21 days and 31 days," he explained. In addition to the five police officers, he said, administrative penalties were also imposed on two civil servants of the National Police who were suspected of being involved in the brokering. A doctor involved in the incident was sentenced to a one-level demotion for one year, while another civil servant was sentenced to 12 months of deducting allowances.
