Riding A Motorbike Without A License Plate, Russian Caucasians In Denpasar Are Ticketed

Russian Caucasians were ticketed in Denpasar for riding a motorcycle without a number plate

DENPASAR - Police are intensifying enforcement against traffic violations in Bali. A Russian citizen with the initial A was fined for not wearing a helmet and motorcycle plates.

South Denpasar Police Chief Commissioner Made Teja Dwi Permana said the foreigner was ticketed while crossing the Matahari Terbit Beach intersection, on By Pass Ngurah Rai Street, Sanur Kaja Village, South Denpasar.

"After being examined by officers, apart from not wearing a helmet and not installing a number plate, the foreigner from Russia also did not have a personal identity or vehicle documents so we gave him a fine by securing the motorbike", said Commissioner Teja, Tuesday, 7 March.

This foreigner lives in a hotel in the Nusa Dua area, Badung, Bali. The motorbike used by Caucasians is rented from a vehicle rental.

"TNKB or license plates themselves are the basis of applying Etle so that they are captured by E-tle tickets and license plates are a requirement for vehicles to operate on the streets. Therefore, if they are deliberately removed or replaced with fake ones it is a form of violation", he said.
