JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensured that the joint investigation team continued to investigate the source of the fire at the beginning of the Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire, North Jakarta.

"Of course, to find out where the source of the fire came from, this is being investigated by the team," said Sigit in his statement, Sunday, March 5.

Sigit stated that the joint investigation team conducted an in-depth examination by asking for statements from several witnesses to check CCTV.

With a comprehensive investigation, said Sigit, the joint investigation team will carry out the proof process with "scientific crime investigation" (SCI).

"Currently, we are gathering witnesses, CCTV, then the things we need are technical so that later we can explain "scientific crime investigation" about actual events. Especially related to the source of the fire that caused the fire," said Sigit.

From the initial review and report he received, Sigit revealed that the fire incident occurred at around 20.00 WIB.

Initially, said Sigit, at that location he was filling up Pertamax fuel sent from Balongan.

When filling in, according to Sigit, from the initial information he received, there was a technical disturbance that resulted in excessive pressure. After that, a fire broke out.
