Files Sent To PT DKI, Ferdy Sambo Cs Appeal Session Will Be Held Soon

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court (PN) submitted the case file for the defendant Ferdy Sambo Cs to the DKI Jakarta High Court (PT). The handover was related to the appeal process for the premeditated murder case against Yosua alias Brigadier J.

"The files on the Ferdi Sambo, Putri Candrawati, Strong Ma'ruf, and Rizky Rizal cases have been submitted to PT DKI in the appeal process," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto in his statement, Friday, March 3.

The submission of the files of the four defendants was said to have been carried out today.

With the submission of the file, the DKI Jakarta High Court will arrange the preparation for the appeal trial.

Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Strong Ma'ruf, and Ricky Rizal had originally decided to appeal the verdict of the panel of judges.

Strong Ma'ruf officially filed an appeal on Wednesday, February 15. Meanwhile, the other three defendants filed an appeal file on Thursday, 15

"The defendants FS, PC and RR were proposed on February 16," said Djuyamto.

For information, the panel of judges decided that the four defendants were legally and convincingly guilty in the premeditated murder case against Brigadier J. However, the sanctions given were different.

Specifically, the defendant Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to death. Meanwhile, Putri Candrawati was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Then, the defendant Strong Ma'ruf was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Ricky Rizal was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
