No High Limit Travelers, Tronton Trucks Stuck In Tanah Abang Underpass

JAKARTA - A tronton truck stuck in an underpass tunnel in front of Pasar Blok A Tanah Abang, Jalan KH Mas Mansyur from the Karet Bivak TPU to Jatibaru, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 3, afternoon.

The incident had caused traffic jams. Central Jakarta Sub-dept. officers who received the report immediately evacuated the assistants.

Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Wildan Anwar said the assistant process was being carried out by crane officers at the location.

"Again, we are trying to use the crane to pull (the truck stuck). It has been evacuated, we are still working on the members who want to pull back," Wildan said when contacted by reporters, Friday, March 3.

The incident was caught in a truck because there was no signal for an underpass height limit to be installed.

"(Rambu pelang) That's what made Bina Marga but broken down, supporting (rustrated) and finally breaking through again. (Rambu pelang) That's the domain of Bina Marga regarding the boundary of the tunnel height," he said.

Based on the latest information, the truck was successfully evacuated using a crane from the Central Jakarta Transportation Agency.

"It has been successfully evacuated at this time," he said.
