JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono admitted that he did not know that there was procurement for the purchase of a Jeep branded car for his official vehicle worth Rp. 2.3 billion in the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year.

"I don't know. I'll check it later," said Heru in South Jakarta, Friday, March 3.

Yang Heru knows, he will get a new official vehicle in the form of an electric car with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Signature brand. This procurement is also a follow-up to Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 7 of 2022 concerning Battery Electric Vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicle) as Operational Service Vehicles and/or Individual Vehicles of the Central Government and Regional Government Agencies Service.

In this year's APBD, the DKI Provincial Government has allocated a budget of 23 electric cars for major official official official official vehicles. The method of procuring the DKI Provincial Government's electric office car is in the form of e-pruchasing. The allocated budget ceiling is IDR 20.3 billion.

"If I'm not mistaken, (procurement of new vehicles) electric cars. That is in accordance with the Presidential Instruction," said Heru.

For information, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government plans to purchase a Jeep branded car for Heru's official vehicle. The capital expenditure of this operational service vehicle is contained in the Information System website of the General Plan for the Procurement of Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institutions (LKPP Sirup).

This procurement is included in the budget allocation for the Regional Goods Storage Center of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD).

"The volume of work is 1 unit. The description of the work for the procurement of individual motorized official vehicles is the Governor," the following reads the details of the Jeep purchase package for Heru's official vehicle.

It has not been mentioned the type of Jeep to be purchased. However, the DKI Provincial Government limits the capacity or content of the Jeep cylinder to be purchased to a maximum of 4,200 CC. The value of the Jeep budget ceiling allocated is IDR 2.37 billion per car.

Apart from Heru, the DKI Provincial Government also plans to buy a similar branded car with the same budget for the official vehicle of the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. Jeep shopping options for Heru and Prasetyo are different. The procurement of Jeeps for Heru is carried out in a tender system, while Prasetyo is through e-purchasing.

The DKI Provincial Government has scheduled the selection of Jeep providers for Heru and Prasetyo to be held from February to March 2023 and continued in the contract implementation from March to April 2023. Meanwhile, the utilization of the proceeds from the procurement of electric service vehicles will start in April 2023.
