Dandim Yahukimo Injured During Shooting Contact With KKB In Dekai Papua Mountains

PAPUA - Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Col. Kav Herman Taryaman admitted that Dandim 1715 Yahukimo Lt. Col. Inf. JV. Tethool suffered a gunshot wound. "Currently, Dandim Yahukimo and the two injured soldiers are still being treated at Dekai Hospital," said Herman Taryaman, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 1. Dandim 1715 Yahukimo was injured in a shootout with the KKB in Dekai, the capital of Yahukimo Regency, Papua Province, Mountains, Wednesday afternoon. He explained that during a shootout with KKB, a soldier from Kodim 1715 Yahukimo died, namely Pratu LW. The two soldiers who were injured were Pratu NS and Sertu RS. A shootout with KKB took place at Km 4 Jl. Paradiso, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, at around 15.30 WIT. Data compiled by Antara revealed that Dandim 1715 Yahukimo Lt. Col. Inf. Tethool was hit by a shot in the left leg and left hand. Sertu RS suffered gunshot wounds to the right thigh and Pratu NS was hit by a shot in the right back of the waist.
