GBK Prepares For BLACKPINK Concert, Persija Vs Persib Match To Be Postponed

JAKARTA - The match between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung which is planned to be held this weekend is in danger of being canceled. The reason is, the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) will be used as a concert location for the K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK.

"The Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung match which was planned to take place on Saturday, March 4 2023 at 15.00 WIB was canceled or postponed," said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Wednesday, March 1.

The BLACKPINK concert organizing committee (Panpel) had already rented SUGBK. In addition, preparations for the concert have also begun.

Meanwhile, the BLACKPINK concert is planned to be held on March 11, 2023.

Trunoyudo explained, regarding the certainty of holding the Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung matches, his party was still waiting for confirmation from the match organizer, namely from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB).

"We are still waiting for the cancellation/postponement letter, because we are still waiting for a letter from the Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB)," said Trunoyudo.

For information, Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung will compete on Saturday, March 4th.

The plan is for the match to be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta, or at the Patriot Stadium, Bekasi.
