Today The KPK Summons Former Ministry Of Finance Official Rafael Alun Regarding Assets Of IDR 56 Billion

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said former Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) official Rafael Alun Trisambodo would be questioned today, Wednesday, March 1. He will be clarified regarding his wealth which reaches Rp56 billion.

"(Clarification, red) at the KPK's Merah Putih building. At 09.00 WIB," said KPK Deputy Prevention Pahala Nainggolan to reporters when confirmed Tuesday, February 28 evening.

Meanwhile, Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention Ipi Maryati stated that Rafael had received a letter from the KPK. In fact, this copy of the letter was addressed to his superior.

Ipi said there were files that Rafael had to submit when the clarification process was carried out. One of them, a letter showing ownership of assets.

"I think all evidence for ownership of assets registered at the LHKPN must be included," he said.

Rafael's wealth was in the spotlight after his son, Mario Dandy Satrio, abused 17-year-old David. The video of the abuse was widely circulated on social media.

After the case, a number of Mario videos spread their wealth in the form of a Harley Davidson motorcycle highlighted by netizens. Not only that, but the public also highlighted the ownership of the Rubicon car used when the persecution took place.

However, it turns out that the Harley Davidson and Rubicon are not on the list of assets reported by Rafael. The amount of wealth he submitted in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) as of February 17, 2022 reached Rp56 billion.

This amount exceeds the wealth of the Director General of Taxes Suryo Utomo of around Rp. 14 billion, who is Rafael's superior. In fact, Rafael's total assets were only narrowly lost to the assets of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani of Rp. 58 billion out of a total of Rp. 67.2 billion deducted debt.
