Nine Rohingya immigrants in Pidie escaped from a temporary shelter in the Mina Raya Gampong Luen building, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency. The head of Padang Tiji sub-district, Asriadi, said that the nine Rohingya immigrants escaped from the camp as male by climbing the bathroom wall. "The incident was discovered when officers were absent from the shelter this morning," said Asriadi in Pidie, Antara, Tuesday, February 28. He said the information was that they fled to climb the bathroom wall behind the building and ran to the fields and shrubs in the gardens of Padang Tiji residents, so CCTV was needed in the shelter area so that it could be monitored. Pidie Police Chief, AKBP Imam Asfali, confirmed the incident and now police officers are still searching for the nine immigrants who fled. "They are thought to be missing or not at the camp on Monday night," said Imam Asfali. AKBP Imam said that for now he continues to make a living by involving dozens of personnel and also the assistance of related parties and the local community. "People who know the whereabouts of the immigrants should immediately report to us for follow-up," he said. Previously, the Rohingya immigrants also had time to escape from the Mina Raya building but failed because they were arrested by the police and had been at the Pidie Police Headquarters on Tuesday (24/1). Previously, dozens of immigrants were stranded on Ujong Pie Beach on Monday (26/12) at around 17.10 WIB. After that, the man of the boat was immediately taken to a temporary shelter location at SMP Negeri 2 Curei.
