168 Residents Of Cijengkol Penyakitan Santapan Kondangan, 5 Treated At Lembang Hospital Bandung

JABAR - The Lembang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) handled five victims of mass poisoning in Cijengkol Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency, West Java (West Java).

President Director of Lembang Hospital Ahmad Oktorudi said the five poisoning victims who underwent treatment at his hospital consisted of three children and two adults. They were referred from the emergency health post in Cijengkol Village.

"There are reports that one more patient wants to come, hopefully it will not worsen his illness due to the poisoning," said Ahmad at Lembang Hospital, West Bandung Regency, Tuesday, February 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that five victims of poisoning who were hospitalized generally complained of nausea and vomiting and diarrhea. The five patients are still undergoing treatment at Lembang Hospital.

"If it cannot be handled here, it may be referred to further health facilities," said Ahmad.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Bandung District Health Office, Hernawan Widjajanto, revealed that there were 168 victims of poisoning in Cijengkol Village.

They are suspected of being poisoned after eating food from a wedding on Sunday, February 26. Residents suspected of being poisoned have received treatment at emergency health posts, health centers, and hospitals.
