TANGERANG - The Pasar Kemis Sector Police (Polsek), Tangerang Police are pursuing the perpetrators of the stabbing and beating of a truck driver on Jalan Raya Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, Saturday, February 25.

Kapolsek Pasar Kemis, AKP Maryadi di Tangerang, mengatakan tim Unit Reskrim masih melakukan penyelidikan terkait peristiwa pengeroyokan terhadap pengendir truk tersebut.

"For now, the investigation and pursuit of the perpetrators is still in progress," he said.

According to him, from the results of the statements of several witnesses regarding the incident, there were two perpetrators who carried out beatings and stabbing truck drivers. "From the results of the investigation, there were two people," he said.

He explained that the chronology of the commotion began when the truck driver reprimanded the angkot driver for causing traffic jams.

"The angkot driver did not accept it, so he approached the truck driver, then stabbed him with a screwdriver," he explained.

Previously, it went viral on social media regarding the recording of the victim of the beating against a truck driver on Jln. Raya Pasar Kemis, to be precise in front of PT Victory Chinglu Indonesia, on Saturday afternoon.

From the footage, the truck driver was seen lying on the side of the road with several wounds on his head.

Then, in the video footage, local residents also had time to chase the alleged perpetrators before they finally managed to escape.
