MATARAM - The public prosecutor continues to detain the suspect in the alleged defamation case of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) with the initials MF.
Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, said that his party continued the detention of MF after receiving delegation or phase two from police investigators on Thursday, February 23.
"Therefore, starting from February 23, 2023 to March 14, 2023, the suspect MF is undergoing the first phase of detention by the public prosecutor at the Class IIA Mataram Prison, Kuripan, West Lombok Regency," said Efrien in Mataram, Antara, Friday, February 24.
The delegation of the suspect MF from police investigators on Thursday was carried out together with the submission of evidence to the public prosecutor. The evidence relates to alleged violations of the Republic of Indonesia Law regarding information and electronic transactions (ITE).
Efrien said that the implementation of phase two was a follow-up to the results of the prosecutor's research which stated that the case file belonging to the suspect was complete or P-21.
