DPRD Inauguration Value OKU Secretary Darmawan Irianto Defected Law

OKU - DPRD assessed that the inauguration of the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Darmawan Irianto was legally flawed. The inauguration was carried out by the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru.

"We consider Darmawan Irianto's inauguration as the OKU Regional Secretary to replace Ahmad Tarmizi, who was held today, legally flawed. According to him, it is very unreasonable for a Tarmizi who has achievements to be replaced by an official at the level of Dharmawan, the former Head of Bapenda OKU, whose position has always been in the spotlight from the local DPRD.

Moreover, continued Naproni, the inauguration did not refer to Presidential Decree No. 3 of 2018 which explained the requirements for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) so that they could be appointed as Officials (PJ) of the Regional Secretary.

"It's very funny if the legal basis for its inauguration is based on Government Regulation (PP) and the Presidential Decree No. 3 of 2018. Try to raise the level of PP or Perpres," he said.

For this reason, his party will complain about the inauguration of the Acting Secretary of the OKU to the ASN Commission in Jakarta as a form of rejection.

"We reject the inauguration today. Is there no other person who can be appointed as the Acting Secretary of the OKU," he said.

Responding to this, the Secretary of the OKU Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) Burhanudin Lubis explained that the position of the OKU Regional Secretary had actually ended since December 2022.

According to the rules, the South Sumatra Provincial Government has the right to evaluate the position of the OKU Regional Secretary to be replaced by other people.

Prior to his inauguration, he said, the Governor of South Sumatra had appointed three people to evaluate the position of the OKU Regional Secretary.

"They are the South Sumatra Provincial Secretary, the Head of the South Sumatra BKD and academics from Sriwijaya University," he said.

From the results of the evaluation, the competent team issued a recommendation that Ahmad Tarmizi's position would not be extended again and replaced by Darmawan Irianto as PJ Sekda OKU.
