Dozens Of Laptops Belonging To 2 Elementary Schools In Kudus Raib, The Buru Police The Perpetrators

The police are investigating the theft of dozens of laptops and a number of projectors in two elementary schools (SD) in Kudus Regency. Losses are estimated at hundreds of millions of rupiah.

"Until now, the alleged theft case in two elementary schools, namely SD Temus and SD2 Padurenan, is still under investigation," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kudus Police, AKP Danang Sri Wiratno in Kudus, Central Java (Central Java), Monday, February 20, confiscated by Antara.

Danang admitted that the police had visited the two schools, to conduct an examination and ask for information.

The perpetrators of the theft, he said, were still being hunted to account for their actions.

Head of Basic Education, Youth Service, and Sports of Kudus Regency, Anggun Nugroho, confirmed the theft case at the Temulus Elementary School and SD 2 Padurenan.

As a result of this incident, he said, SD Temus lost several chromebook laptops and four projectors, while SD 2 Padurenan lost 11 chromebook laptops.

Each principal, he said, had been asked to report the case to the police for follow-up.

"We will also summon them for questioning, how did the case happen," he said.

The school, he continued, would of course ask about the procedures for storing supporting equipment for digitizing education to support the independent learning curriculum.
