Political Temperatures In Sukabumi Are Feeling Warming Up, West Java Police Use Brimob To Help The Resort Police To Maintain A Conducive Situation

SUKABUMI - The political temperature in Sukabumi Regency is considered to have heated up. For this reason, the West Java (West Java) Regional Police deployed a platoon of Brimob personnel.

They were sent down to help the Sukabumi Police to create a conducive situation in the area. Of course, to provide a sense of security and comfort to the community ahead of the 2024 General Election.

"The political temperature in Sukabumi Regency ahead of the current political year has begun to warm up, so from an early age we have carried out various anticipations of security disturbances that could arise in the community," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Maruly Pardede, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 18.

The presence of Brimob personnel at the Sukabumi Police Station was directed by the West Java Police Chief Inspector General Suntana during a working visit to the Sukabumi Police some time ago.

"The presence of Brimob personnel is certainly very helpful for his party in order to create a conducive situation within the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi Police which does not rule out the possibility of approaching the political year there will be friction in the community because it is affected by the conditions of the Indonesian political world," he said.

For this reason, according to him, the presence of Brimob troops will increase the strength of the Sukabumi Police in carrying out various activities, especially when carrying out security duties.

However, he emphasized that the presence of Brimob members did not mean replacing the role of Sukabumi Police personnel in security operations in the field.

He has also asked the Deputy Chief of Sukabumi Police and the Head of Operations for the Sukabumi Police to immediately schedule security activities by involving Brimob members.

"The presence of Brimob personnel is expected to add a sense of security and comfort for residents who live in the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi Police," he said.

Maruly also said that for technical security starting from the stages until the election was over, his party had coordinated with relevant agencies such as the KPU and Bawaslu of Sukabumi Regency, besides that it also provided education to residents to jointly make the 2024 General Election a success.
