JAKARTA. - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari admitted that he was very sorry for his actions in the case of alleged gratification in the processing of a fatwa at the Supreme Court (MA). Pinangki said he would lose his future because he would have been fired from the Adhyaksa Corps.

Pinangki's regret was conveyed when the panel of judges gave him the opportunity to respond to all matters in the trial.

Pinangki immediately said that he regretted his actions. Because, because of his actions, his work career will certainly fall apart.

"Destroyed the job, the AGO when it is (involved in the case) will be fired, Your Honor," said Pinangki in a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 6.

"Very sorry that I started, I should not do this kind of noble," he continued.

Pinangki asked the prosecutor to ease his demands. The reason is that he has a 4 year old child who still needs love from a mother.

In addition, Pinangki also asked the panel of judges to decide on a light sentence for him. Pinangki also promised not to repeat his actions.

"I ask the public prosecutor to make his demands merciful. And ask for mercy that starts so that he can decide on mercy, my child is still 4 years old, my father is sick. I am sorry. I promise I will not come near again," he said.

Attorney Pinangki was charged with three counts, namely the first charge of receiving a bribe of US $ 500,000 (around Rp7.4 billion) from the convicted Bank Bali cessie case Joko Soegiarto Tjandra.

Second, the money laundering charges originating from the receipt of bribes amounting to 444,900 dollars or around Rp6,219,380,900.00 as money given by Joko Tjandra for processing fatwas to the Supreme Court.

Third, Pinangki was charged with committing malicious conspiracy along with Andi Irfan Jaya and Joko Tjandra to bribe officials at the AGO and MA worth 10 million US dollars.
