Regarding Johnny G Plate's Opportunities For Suspects, AGO: Too Early, Still Exploring

JAKARTA - The Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Jampidsus of the Attorney General's Office, Kuntadi, does not want to make assumptions about the opportunity to determine the Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G Plate, as a suspect in the alleged corruption of Bakti Kominfo. Investigations are still being carried out. "Later, it's still too early," Kuntadi told reporters at the AGO Round Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 14. The deepening, continued Kuntadi, continues in various ways. In addition to searching several locations, witness summons are also being carried out. "We are still investigating," he said. As previously reported, the AGO continues to investigate allegations of corruption by Bakti Kominfo. Most recently, Johnny G Plate has been examined as a witness for nine hours since the morning around 09.00 WIB. Not only Johnny, but the AGO also examined five other witnesses. They are K as Director of PT Elabram System; DA as private party; Director of PT Menara Cahaya Telekomunikasi with the initials TBSK; Director of PT Telnusa Intracom, DB; and WL as Director of Sales of PT ZTE Indonesia. To investigate cases of alleged corruption in the BTS 4G infrastructure provider and supporters of packages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 BAKTI Kominfo, about 50 witnesses were examined and 23 witnesses were prevented from leaving the country. This case is suspected of causing more than Rp1 trillion in state finances. As for the suspects, there are five that have been determined by the AGO. They are Anang Achmad Latif (AAL) as the President Director of BAKTI, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Gapol Menak (GMS) as the President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Yohan Suryanto (YS) as an expert on Human Development (HUDEV) at the University of Indonesia in 2020, Mukti Ali as a suspect from PT Huwaei Technology Investment and Irwan Hermawan as Commissioner of PT Solitchmedia Synergy.
