Wahyu Iman Santoso was once a judge in the trial of a corruption case conducted by former Pasuruan Regent Dade Angga in 2010. Dade was named a suspect in the corruption of regional cash funds from the Pasuruan Regency Government. The funds that were corrupted were worth Rp. 10 billion.

Wahyu Iman Santoso has also handled the corruption case of former Mimika Regent Eltinus Omaleng. He chaired the trial of the pre-peradlan lawsuit filed by Mimika Regent Eltinus Omaleng in July 2022.

The lawsuit filed is registered with the South Jakarta District Court with case number 62/Pid.Pra/2022/PN JKT.SEL. Wahyu rejected the lawsuit filed by Eltinus and won the KPK. Eltinus Omaleng committed corruption over the construction of the Kingmi Mile 32 Church.
