Lecturer's Recognition Never Set Children In The Unil Chancellor To Be Accepted In Medicine

BANDARLAMPUNG - Lecturer of the Faculty of Biology, University of Lampung (Unila) Tugiyono admitted that he had entrusted his son to the former rector of Unila Karomani to be accepted as a student of the Faculty of Medicine. Tugiyono said this as a witness in the trial of the corruption case of accepting Unila's new student at the Tanjungkarang District Court, Bandarlampung, Tuesday, with the defendant Karomani. "I have also been asked for furniture for the LNC building (Lampung Nahdliyin Center)," said Tugiyono, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 14. Through Budi Sutomo, Tugiyono then handed over Rp250 million in cash. "My daughter said 'this is her daughter has graduated' and she asked for the funds must now because if not, it was disallowed. I immediately gave cash in Budi's room," he said. Karomani along with two other defendants, namely the former vice chancellor of Unila Heryandi and former chairman of the Unila Senate, Muhammad Basri, who became a defendant in the case of allegedly accepting bribes for accepting new students at Unila 2022.
