CIREBON - The action of four high school students of the Mundu State Vocational School (SMKN) who were arrested was rewarded by the Cirebon Police, West Java. "This is a momentum that students can contribute and become a good example to prevent crime, not as perpetrators," said Cirebon Police Chief Kombes Arif Budiman in Cirebon, as reported by Antara, Monday, February 13. Currently, there are many perpetrators of criminal acts, especially brawls that result in injuries and deaths being carried out by students, and there are not a few in number. So, when there are students or students who are willing to sacrifice and are dedicated to helping maintain security, they need to be appreciated so that they can become examples. According to him, there were four students of SMKN Mundu, Cirebon Regency, who arrested the suspect in the mugging at a market in Weru District. "They are without fear of arresting the robbers who are in action," he said. He hopes that the heroic action carried out by the students can be an example for other students, and it is better to help the community than to carry out brawls between students. "We give this award as an initiation and inspiration for students and other communities," said Arif. Meanwhile, one of Imam Macroja's students said that at the time of the incident he and his three colleagues were going to school, but saw someone carrying out a mugging action. In fact, continued Imam, he had time to chase the thief who was riding a motorcycle, for trying to escape, then being kicked and pulled, so that the perpetrator fell. "I also fell after pulling the perpetrator, and suffered injuries to the hands and legs. Then we immediately arrested and took the suspect to the Police Post," he said.
