PIDIE - A middle-aged woman died as a result of the wild elephant's tantrum in Gampong Lhok Keutapang, Genie Hamlet, Tangse District, Pidie Regency, with a separate head from body condition. Keuchik Gampong Lhok Keutapang, Mustafa said the victim named Fitriani (45) was a local resident who was found dead on Sunday at 22.30 WIB after a search was carried out by residents. The victim and her husband Usman Abu Bakar or Tengku Sabang headed to the garden on Saturday, February 11 but her husband continued his journey to Geumpang and left his wife in the garden. "Previously, my husband guaranteed that if he did not return home until the afternoon, he ordered the wife to go down to the village," said Mustafa as quoted by Antara, Monday, February 14. One day, Tengku Sabang returned to the garden at 18.00 WIB to their original place, which was a footpath distance of about three kilometers from the residents' village. Arriving at the location, Tengku Sabang saw the hut they had occupied destroyed and his wife was not there. "The victim's husband reported to gampong so we and the residents went to the garden and joined in looking for victims and at around 22.30 WIB we found the victim was dead face down and his head was separated from his body," he said. He said the victim had been handed over to his family in Gampong Paru, Pidie Jaya Regency and they were not willing to be autopsied.
