TANGERANG - The police are investigating the confession of FP (25), a young woman who admitted to being raped and abused and then left on the Jakarta-Tangerang KM 25-27 toll road, by the alleged perpetrator named Dika.

Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih, said the case was being handled by the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the South Tangerang Police.

"We are still examining the issue of rape," said Galih in a singka message, Friday, February 10.

Galih explained that the incident began when the victim said goodbye to his parents to go to Bogor, West Java. Then, the victim at that time went to Sudirman Station.

At that place FP met a man named Dika. As a result, there was communication between the victim and the alleged perpetrator.

"The perpetrator promised to buy a laptop for the victim. Then the victim and the perpetrator went to Grogol but it turned out that the shops were closed," he said.

"After that, the perpetrator took the victim to Kota Tua, there the victim and the perpetrator met with the perpetrator's friend (penamen). One of them claimed to be named Alif and then chatted with each other," he continued.

Until 00.00 WIB, the victim asked the perpetrator to be sent home. However, Dika actually forbade it.

The victim was invited to take the transportation until he finally stopped at the bus stop terminal. Then the victim and the perpetrator took the Primajasa bus, which turned out to be the bus heading to Merak via the Jakarta-Merak toll road.

On the way to the Jakarta-Merak toll road right at KM 25-27, the perpetrator asked to get off at Km 27 to the bus driver. After getting off, Dika and FP went through the bushes.

"All the way, the victim naged and asked to go home until finally the perpetrator felt angry and irritated and then the perpetrator started molesting the victim by hitting the victim and strangling the victim," he said.

After molesting the victim, the perpetrator took the cellphone and FP in the amount of Rp. 400 thousand. After that, the perpetrator left the victim at the scene.

The victim tried to seek help by returning to the toll road and at around 05.00 the victim was found by a member of the PJR Korlantas Polri who was on patrol. Then taken to the Bitung PJR Post until finally the victim was taken to Hermina Bitung Hospital," he concluded.
