JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that 3 trees fell due to rain accompanied by winds that flushed the capital this morning.

The three locations of the fallen trees are on Jalan Cut Mutia, Kebon Sirih Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta; Jalan Bangka, Pela Mampang Village, Mampang Prapatan District, South Jakarta; and on Jalan Taman Lebak Bulus, Lebak Bulus Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta.

"Each fallen tree on Jalan Cut Mutia and Jalan Bangka hit an electric cable," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Disaster Data and Information Processing Unit, Michael Sitanggang in his statement, Thursday, February 9.

Michael ensured that no one was hit by the fallen pohkn. Now, the three trees that fell onto the road are being handled by joint officers.

"The fallen tree is being handled by the Fire Department, BPBD TRC, Forestry Service, DPE, and PPSU kelurahan," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain will still fall in the DKI Jakarta area today until 14.00 WIB.
