Defend Gorontalo Women's Prisons, Find Officers To Find Sate Up To Batu In The Prisoners' Chamber

GORONTALO - The residential booth of a correctional inmates (WBP) or inmates at the Gorontalo Class III Women's Prison was searched 45 minutes by officers on Wednesday, February 8.

The search, which was also led directly by the Head of the Class III Women's Prison, Gorontalo Meita Eriza, did not find any prohibited items.

In the inmates' booths, officers found several of their main personal items, such as stainless perfume bottles, satay stabs, peniti, nails, stones, food dyes, extracters and others.

"No prohibited items such as cell phones and drugs were found," Eriza told reporters, Wednesday, February 8, as reported by Antara.

Eriza conveyed that this activity was a form of commitment to prevent and suppress the entry of prohibited items into the residential blocks of the inmates of the prison.

"We confiscated the prohibited items as an effort to increase vigilance and minimize disturbances in security and order at the Gorontalo Class III Women's Correctional Institution," he said.

As for this search, the Head of Sub-Section for Security and Order at the Gorontalo Women's Prison, Ferawati Abdjul, was also present. The search operation targeted the residential booths in the Tulip and Lavender detention rooms.

Etiza said that his party continues to be committed to keeping prison conditions safe and conducive and avoiding disturbances in security and order.

"This commitment can be seen from the search of the residential booths of correctional inmates, both routinely and incidentally so that no prohibited items are included in the prison," he said.
