Ianllillah! Nahdliyin Asal Jombang Dies After Following 1 Century NU's Harlah At GOR Sidoarjo

SIDOARJO - A nahdliyin from Jombang Regency, East Java, died of illness after attending the NU Century Harlah at GOR Delta, Sidoarjo Regency.

Head of the Jombang District Health Office, Budi Nugroho, admitted that he received news that a congregation from Jombang had died.

"I received information that a congregation had died, then I asked his identity and I traced it to the Sidoarjo District Health Office. It was not a congregation from escorting the group but departed alone," he said when confirmed, Tuesday, February 7 evening.

Nahdliyin died in the hospital. From the Jombang District Health Office, he also coordinated the process of repatriating the bodies and now it has been repatriated.

"The information is after prayer, dizziness. So, it is not in a jostling position. Currently, it has been returned to the funeral home," he said as quoted by Antara.

He emphasized that from the beginning he had alerted his personnel. One sub-district has a medical team, so that the health of the congregation during his participation in the NU 1-century Harlah activities in Sidoarjo has received supervision from the medical team.

"From the start we prepared it right. A group from the sub-district of a team of medical personnel. At the warning place (Sidoarjo), I prepared three shift in medical personnel and paramedics who served. They also waited for the congregation to be repatriated," he said.

Nahdliyin, who died, was identified as Imam Suhrowardi (22) due to shortness of breath. He attended the NU 1 century Harlah activity at GOR Delta, Sidoarjo Regency.

Imam, who is a resident of Gedangan Village, Mojowarno District, Jombang Regency, left the house to Sidoarjo with his colleague, Teguh, a resident of Gondek Village, Mojowarno District, Jombang, Monday (6/2) night.

To Teguh, Imam had complained that he was not feeling well. On the way and he stopped at his brother Teguh's house, Ketegan Village, Tanggul Angin District, Sidoarjo Regency.

He also participated in the NU Century Harlah event at the Delta GOR in Sidoarjo Regency, on Tuesday morning and returned to his brother Teguh's house, because he was not feeling well.

On Tuesday afternoon, Imam also attended congregational prayers at the prayer room near his brother Teguh's house, and during the last meeting he fell limp and was taken to the clinic in Sidoarjo. He received treatment, but died.

Imam was then taken back to the funeral home, Mojogeneng Hamlet, Gedangan Village, Mojowarno District, Jombang Regency, and buried.
