Following The Complaint Of The 19th Dewa Concert, PDIP Asks Jakpro To Stop While The Event Is At JIS Until The Evaluation Is Complete

JAKARTA - Various complaints from Dewa concert audiences 19 weekends last week, requiring PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to improve access to the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) so as not to trouble visitors anymore.

Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Gembong Warsono suggested that Jakpro as the manager stop all planned events to be held at JIS after the evaluation and repairs were completed.

"Mainda first. Don't hold the event first at JIS while heading for the intended improvements to answer the problems faced by the community earlier. This supporting facility is a determining factor for access from JIS itself," said Gembong at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Monday, February 6.

Moreover, according to Gembong, the holding of the Dewa 19 concert at JIS yesterday was an event that was still nationally classy. Meanwhile, JIS is predicted to be an international-class stadium.

Gembong assesses that if there is a problem in the implementation at JIS, it means that the management of the stadium that was built in the era of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, really needs to be evaluated.

"So it confirms that what is said to be an international class, right? Even though the event was national and normal class, but it turned out that there was a buildup. So, it needs to be an evaluation for Jakpro to rearrange so that in the future access is now a problem of finding a way out," said Gembong.

The 30th Anniversary of Dewa 19 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, February 4 yesterday became an event that the audience could not forget. Behind the majestic appearance of Dewa 19 which was held at this international-class stadium, it turned out that there were many complaints.

The complaint of the 30-year-old Dewa 19 concert audience was widely expressed on social media. Most of the complaints from netizens were about the poor access to the mobility of visitors in and out of the stadium. During the concert, a number of spectators who had tickets in the stands did not get seats. The audience also complained about the quality of the sound system that was not optimal to the upper tribune area. When the concert was completed on Sunday, February 5 at around 00.00 WIB, the audience started to leave the stadium. Given the absence of parking bags inside the JIS area, there was another parking access in the Ancol area and JIExpo Kemayoran. To support access to these two parking locations, there was also a shuttle bus from JIS to the external parking location. The problem is, the narrow roadfront of JIS, Jalan Sunter Permai Raya and its surroundings makes traffic jam unavoidable. The traffic flow of vehicles parked around the JIS area was blocked to get out of the area, including the shuttle bus that drove the audience to the parking location. The spectator who tried to order online motorcycle taxis, instead of waiting for the arrival of the next shuttle bus, was unsuccessful many times. Many of the audience also decided to walk a few kilometers from JIS and the location of external parking.
